During the Workshop on Innovation and Sustainable Tourism held in the framework of the International Tourism Fair of Catalonia (SITC), Mr. Xavier Vives has presented his paper about "Good Practices in Business for Innovation in Tourism Sector"
Yesterday was inaugurated the nineteenth edition of International Tourism Fair of Catalonia (SITC) that, under the proclaim "Turn Around the World in a Day", brings us closer to the most varied international destinations.
For the first time, the SITC offers workshops for professionals, this time focusing on "Innovation and Sustainable Tourism." As part of this gathering of professionals, Mr. Xavier Vives, Managing Partner of C4T, has participated in a round table where he presented a case study about the innovative Southern California Association of Govenments (SCAG) that, including six counties, is a paradigm of Coopetition and Innovation to provide a meeting place of work and common goals Inter-counties.
In the SCAG, businesses and governments of the various counties work aligned to the same target. With a budget of over $ 38 million, aims to improve the quality of life for its citizens, visitors and tourists, improving communications and sustainability Inter-counties.
