C4T finished the Strategic Action Plan for Tourism in Calonge – Sant Antoni

After several working sessions with the participation of Colonge´s city hall, technicians, entrepreneurs, representatives of various associations and individual citizens of Calonge´s city, from which it has developed a tourism diagnosis in the district, C4T has delivered the final report detailing the strategies and an action plan to follow for the development of the new tourism model.


On march 23rd of 2011, C4T exposed in a public meeting the Strategic Tourism Action Plan, with the participation of Calonge´s Major, Mr. Jordi Soler, also with the assistance of other members of the city hall, municipal technicians, entrepreneurs, members of different associations, local media representatives and individual citizens.

C4T highlighted several strategic actions that will give an impact for the municipal competitiveness as touristic destination and in order to provide viable ways to break the existing seasonal tourism. These strategies have been the result of several participatory sessions of analysis and diagnosis which also includes the cross-study of the Weakness, Threats, Strengths and Opportunities of a Project (SWOT-C), a methodological tool developed by the Professor Xavier, Managing Partner at C4T. Unlike the conventional SWOT analysis, this study crosses its elements together providing a greater level of detail in its findings and allowing real involvement and participation within the social and business sectors.
